When are seed potatoes, onion sets, and garlic bulbs available?
Organic onion and garlic sets are available for pre-order in August, with shipping starting in October. Spring seed potatoes can be pre-ordered from December and are typically dispatched from February.
Why are some plants only available for pre-order?
To ensure healthy growth without chemical treatments, baby plants are shipped starting in early April, aligning with the natural growing season and reduced frost risk.
What are plug plants?
Plug plants are young plants grown in small, individual cells, ready to be transplanted into containers or gardens. Each is typically 8cm or less in height.
Where do you deliver?
Deliveries are made across Ireland and Northern Ireland using An Post. Compost orders use Fastway, and pallet deliveries use couriers. Deliveries to the UK mainland and other countries are not available at this time.
How many seeds are in a packet?
Seed packets are packed by weight, typically containing between 0.1 and 1 gram of seeds, providing plenty for sowing.
