Leitrim Hill Creamery brings together craft, patience and a love for real dairy. Based in Leitrim, this small-scale creamery creates raw milk cheeses, handmade ice cream and a range of sweet dairy treats made from local milk. Each recipe starts with milk from nearby farms, keeping the process close to the land and the community. The makers use traditional cheesemaking and churning methods that preserve the natural taste of raw milk. Their range changes with the seasons, so each visit offers something different. From sharp aged cheese to smooth ice cream and rich Cajeta, every product has its own story shaped by local ingredients and careful production.
The website leitrimhillcreamery.com invites visitors to explore the creamery’s full selection and learn about the process behind it. The online shop lets customers order small-batch cheeses, tubs of fresh ice cream and artisan spreads straight from the source. Each item is described clearly, with attention to texture, flavour and origin. The focus is on taste and quality, not volume. Visitors can also read about the traditional methods that give these products their depth of flavour. The creamery’s team shares insights into their work with local farms and their approach to seasonal production. For those in Leitrim or nearby, the site acts as a bridge between the farm and the kitchen table, offering a way to support genuine Irish dairy craft and enjoy products made with care and transparency.

5 months agoLovely pizzas and testing ice cream...maybe on the product line soon. Goats and hens were in fine fettle. Still 5 star with ice cream selling...delicious, soft goats cheese and now hard goats cheese incredibly good.

a year agoMy son and I visited Leitrim Hill Creamery today after discovering it on Google Maps, and I absolutely loved it! The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and had many interesting stories to share. She even gave us a tour of the small, family-run farm, which was great. We purchased some raw, fresh goat's milk, goat cheese, a goat and cow cheese blend, and fudge—all made on the farm. Without a doubt, it was the best goat cheese I've ever had anywhere in the world, and the fudge was beautifully creamy and perfectly crafted. The fresh milk was top-notch as well. I highly recommend visiting this place!
