a month agoBought 3 bags of Enrich Topsoil in spring from Co Clare supplier. I am surprised to see that it has become an industrial blend at this stage. Yes it's soil and will pass every definition but it is a careful blend of alot of clay, quarried chips and other humus additions. For growing veg or fruit it is nothing like a brown or black soil that I would remember from growing up on a farm. It needs lots of compost and Fym to put some nutrients and life into it. Also I purchased this in the past and I can remember it being much better and had oilseed rape like plants emerging from it i.e it had real topsoil in it. Buyer beware
