Always a pleasure to go to the Clink. Have been several times with my finance. Staff are always very welcoming and accommodating. We dropped in last minute on New Years Eve and they jumped through hoops to get us a table. Food is always plentiful and good portion sizes. Steak is ACTUALLY cooked to specifications. Pints are poured well and atmosphere inside is cosy and welcoming. Great spot away from the noise and buzz of the Saturday Night in Carlow. Would highly recommend

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Clink. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was beautifully presented, and every dish was packed with flavour. It's clear that the kitchen takes real pride in what they serve. What truly made our visit unforgettable, though, was our server, Erin. She was nothing short of exceptional. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring, Erin went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. Her professionalism, warmth, and knowledge of the menu made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Outstanding food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere – I couldn't recommend The Clink more highly. A huge thank you to Erin for making our visit so memorable. We'll definitely be back!

This place is soooo good!!! First time visiting Ireland and I got the pizza with a baked potato and a fruit salad for dessert! The fruit was extremely fresh and tasted really good! One of the top desserts I’ve ever had! My very picky eater brother had the Alaska and he said it was the best thing he’s ever eaten. Pizza crust was also really good! The ginger Ale is also oddly really good? And the SERVICE IS IMMACULATE we had two servers at our table and they were always smiling and definitely made our trip better! They even talked to us for a little bit and recommended some places! Thank you Anna our server!!! We wish we could’ve tipped more!!
