We had the most fantastic experience at Wicklow way wines, we tried blackberry, strawberry and raspberry wine with cheese and chocolate pairings. The tour was given by Brett and Shane who are clearly very passionate about the business. We got to see how the handwritten labels are applied to the bottles and the fermentation process. They spoke about present and future projects, the history of the business, the Irish wine industry and answered many questions.

Wife and I did the tour. Bret was so kind to us. I was half-reluctant to even make this review, in case other people expect this unsustainable level of generosity with his time! But he deserves massive credit. There were only two of us on the tour. He could've easily cancelled, and we would have understood. But he didn't, and he gave us a long tour where we were not bored at any point. Even if you're not 'into' brewing, his enthusiasm rubs off and storytelling keeps you engaged. My one piece of advice to people is to not expect the product to be exactly like wine from grapes. It's a different drink, and it isn't trying to emulate it per se. Really good folks. Irish SME. Nice family business. Lovely product. No-brainer to support it, IMO.

Myself and my husband went to Wicklow way winery for a tour on Sunday, it was such a great experience and really interesting I would definitely recommend, Brett was one of the nicest men we have came across he explained everything so well and told us how everything was made in the winery, Brett was also very helpful when we needed to bring back our wines to our hotel we cant thank him enough! Also for the wine itself it was 10/10 we even bought 6 bottles for home! Amazing amazing!!

An amazing experience to see what is involved in the production of wines. The tour guide spent almost 2 hrs explaining in detail every part of the process, which included wine tasting at the end of the tour. Well forth the cost and I would encourage you to give it a try and if nothing else support the only Irish vineyard in lenister.
